I mentioned this in passing last entry, so I figured I'd expand on it a little bit more in an actual entry. Especially since almost none of you have heard the news.

As of September 1st, I am moving.

I will still be in Springfield. I'm not leaving the city or anything that drastic...it's just finally time for me to get out of my parents house and live on my own. I've really been living here with them way beyond necessary.

The new place is fantastic. It's a two story Victorian style house and the bedrooms are humongous. My bedroom in particular is twice the size of the room that I'm currently in at my folks place (in fact, it's bigger than their Master Bedroom). Granted, this comes with a small price. We have almost NO yard because of the size of the house...although I'm okay with that because it means less mowing.

The house is on the North Side of Springfield, close to Kearney and Kansas Expressway. Yes, I know a lot of you Springfieldians are probably going "Ew, that's the ghetto." However, the neighborhood the house is in is actually very nice. Plus, I'm moving in with three of my friends: Jean, his partner Jesse, and his younger brother Wes; On top of that, some of our mutual friends live in the house next to us. So I'm slightly covered in the "people I know living there" category.

I do think we are going to try to have a housewarming party, so I'm going to extend the invitation to my friends that might want to come. I don't know exactly when it'll be, probably towards the middle or end of September. Just keep that in mind, I'll know more details once we actually move in.

Either way, I figured you all might want to know what's going on since I almost never update this thing with anything of relevance to my life.
